Special Day

Last Sunday was a special day for me. On this day, we went to Six Flags. First, we had planned to start at 9:00 A.M., but we arrived there at 12:00 P.M. because we were lost. Shortly after we checked our pack and ate the food we brought at the entrance, but the security guard told me don’t take it into Six Flags. When we want to into Six Flags, my friend told us he lost his ticket. Fortunately, we found it in his car. So we checked at the entrance again. Six Flags is funny, but my friend played some games that made him vomit, because his belly was full of food he brought. In conclusion, I think this day was special and interesting for me. I will remember it.

Poem

Kevin is my American name.

Everything that is interesting, I want tries it.

Vegetables are my favorite food.

I like to eat meat, too.

Nobody cooks food better than my mother.

Chinese food is my country’s food.

Hamburgers are popular but I don’t like them.

Anytime I love to eat food.

Natural food is good for me.

Great” is a word I often say.

Carbondale

I like Carbondale because it is a wonderful place to study. First, it has a great school, SIU, and good teachers and friendly people. I remember on my first day in Carbondale, everybody said “hi” and smiled at me, although I don’t know them. The second reason is, the weather is great. The summers aren’t too hot or too rainy, so you can go swimming in the lake or go to a picnic on the prairie. Third, Carbondale is very natural. If you go walking here, you can smell fresh air and look at many trees and animals. In conclusion, I had a wonderful time during my beginning study in Carbondale. It’s a beautiful city I live in.

There Are Many Differences Between Taiwan And United States

The biggest difference between Taiwan and the U.S.A is that Taiwan is smaller. First, the American land is much bigger than Taiwan .And Taiwan is made up of a single race of people which is different than the U.S.A. Besides, American house are bigger. When you live in Taiwan it is convenient, but in the U.S.A, if you want to buy something you must drive car to buy it. In traffic, the pedestrians in Taiwan are in more danger than in the U.S.A, because the cars are fast and the drivers don't obey the law.So I think Taiwan and United States are two differences world.
